About the Role
The Manager Financial Reporting is responsible for leading the statutory financial and monthly reporting,investment performance, payments and financial controls over cash control and investing.
Your duties will include;
- leading, managing, supporting and developing the team of accounting professionals ensuring
- performance development and succession frameworks are in place to manage staff performance
and drive the development of system capability Forging and maintaining strong relationships with
key stakeholders providing the conduit for robust discussions and collaboration - ensuring consolidated month-end and year-end closing processes are timely
- ensuring the accuracy of monthly and quarterly accounting reports
- reviewing to ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and reviewed every month,
including liaising with staff outside the Financial Reporting team - recommending new/changes to finance policies and procedures
- developing leading-edge methods and strategies to achieve desired outcomes
- managing the annual consolidated budgets (system and schools) and long-term forecasts
- providing support to other directorates, facilities and planning to prepare budgets and long-term
forecasts.

About You
The successful candidate will also possess the following:
- Tertiary qualification/certification in Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
Administration, or related field - chartered or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation
- demonstrated success in Accounting leadership roles
- leadership capability to lead people achieve desired outcomes
- demonstrated experience in implementing innovative practices to serve business needs
- willingness to respect, support, and uphold the mission, ethos, and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of SCS.
